Daddy turns 36!

It's Daddy's birthday!
Samuel tried to wrap himself up as a gift.
Grandma's present for Daddy was homemade cinnamon rolls! Mmmm. . . . .good!
We love our Daddy!

My little boy!

I was walking past the laundry room and noticed that the dryer was open a little bit. Upon closer inspection I found Sam camping out in there --complete with big blanket and flashlight in case someone decided to close the dryer! That's my Sam! Always keeps us guessing.

Egg Hunt #2

How many kids get to have 2 easter egg hunts?!? Our kids are spoiled, I guess. Today we had an egg hunt with the Bowler cousins. We went to the park by Kathie's house and had a picnic before hiding the eggs. It was especially fun because Gma Bowler bought some really cool eggs that had unique ways of hiding/attaching them. Some had double-stick tape. Others had string so you could hang them from something or suction cups on them. It really made it fun for the bigger kids.

Easter Egg Hunt

We were so lucky to have an Easter egg hunt and picnic with the Wilson cousins. Aunt Lynn was in town and so was Katie Whitcomb(cousin) with her new baby. The kids had so much fun playing duck, duck, goose with Gma Wilson while the bigger kids hid the eggs. It was a beautiful day!

More Spring Break Fun

Kent & Amy are building a house and their property backs up to BLM property which means they have a beautiful view and the Virgin river in their "backyard". We spent the morning playing in the water with Chris, Brad, Dan, Emma, and Ben. More cousin fun!

Spring Break in St. George

We went to St. George for Spring Break this year. It is one of our favorite places to be. Why? Cousins, of course. Both Kent & Scott live there which means lots of cousins to play with. We had such a fun week with them. We even got to see the newest Bowler cousin, Gabriella, 7 weeks old. Another highlight was the half-pipe and other skateboard ramps at Scott's house. The boys were in heaven! Jeremy was top skate-boarder in our family.
We went to Blue Bunny ice cream parlor and the bigger kids decided to try the 21 scoop salute. They actually finished it and got their names on a plaque on the wall. The best part was the deal made between Chris and the rest of the cousins. Chris has been eating sugar-free, so he told the rest of the cousins that if he gave in and ate the ice cream they would have to go sugar-free for 2-3 weeks. As far as I know, it didn't last more than a few days.

Our First 5K

The kid's school sponsors a 5K/1mile every year as a fund raiser for the PTA. The kids decided that we needed to participate this year. I can't believe they talked me into it!

5k-On you mark. . .
1 milers-get ready
Charity, Emily, Jeremy and I did the 5K. Zac wanted to go with his friends so he did the 1 miler. Jeremy was still getting over a week-long fight with pneumonia and this was the first day he actually felt okay. He had been planning on doing this for weeks and was so excited--what's a mom to do. . . .let him go. I know, not the smartest choice but I just couldn't say no. Instead I had to give him a back ride after running 1/2 block and then walking the next few blocks. I would carry him for a while and then I would put him down to walk for a bit. About half way through he couldn't even walk any more and after some convincing he agreed to go home and rest. This last picture is of him as he is walking up to the house --very sad and very tired. (we had to wait until the route went by our house again)What a trooper~! Steve played photographer and watched the little boys.

Jeremy's Baptism

How proud we are of Jeremy today. He is such a sweet boy with a soft heart. He is already setting a good example to his brothers and I'm sure he will continue to be a blessing in our family. He is ready to help in whatever way he can and is always there with a hug whenever you need it. We love you, Jeremy! How blessed we are to have a wonderful family!
