Tonight at the school they had Veteran's night to show all the projects that the 8th graders have been working on. They did something relating to veterans in just about every subject from writing a tribute to put on the "pillars of freedom", to doing a science project on artificial limbs, to doing a math project showing percentages of veterans from different wars, etc. It was a very neat presentation. Charity chose my Grandpa Stander to write about and this is my mom standing next to his "pillar" tribute.

How cool! I came to your blog to tease you about not posting in so long, but you must be altering the date of when you post because I haven't seen these older posts, but I don't remember your name coming to the top of my blog list. Hmmm.
Anyway, very fun pillar of Freedom for Grandpa. What a neat activity.
