Yes, We're still alive

I know many have wondered if I was ever going to get back on track with this blog, (including myself). Life is so busy and crazy and once you get a little behind it seems to add up even faster. So, I'm making a new start today! Hopefully, I will get back to posting the past 5 months, but in the mean time I am starting with this weekend.
Ready to GO!

We had a very fun weekend starting with the Father & Sons campout. The boys were SO excited to go camping with their daddy. They went up to Dugas Road where it was a tiny bit cooler than here. They brought the dirt bikes up and rode them all Saturday morning. They were extremely tired when they got home, but had a blast.
Where's dad gonna sleep?

What boy doesn't love throwing rocks in the water!?!

While the boys were away, the girls and I had a fun night of shopping up at Desert Ridge and then came home to watch a movie. The girls ended up watching it by themselves because my brother, Mike, was in town and came over to visit. We ended up talking until 1:30 in the morning. Yes, I'm still tired. :) The house was so quiet Saturday morning--Emily asked if the boys could just stay gone until late that night. Nice try, Em! They came home early afternoon and we went swimming over at John's house to celebrate Savannah's birthday. After that the girls and I went to a baby shower for our good friend Lynda. It was quite the full day, but very fun!

Mother's Day

I think today was one of the best so far. There was nothing extraordinary, just a quiet day with family. There was a sweet spirit here all day that just made it great. Steve and the kids made me pancakes for breakfast and then we went to church. Then the kids and I baked for a few hours. Each of them took a turn making something with me. It was really fun. At 3:30 all of the Bowlers came over for a potluck so that everyone could get a chance to visit with Mike while he is here (and to see Mom!) We had a wonderful visit with everyone. I love family!!!
We ended the day by going over to see Steve's mom and dad. We are so grateful for good parents and family that do so much to help us and give us encouragement.
Happy Mothers Day to all of you!

Glad you're alive! Yep...all boys need are rocks, dirt, and water and they are in heaven. I wonder if that is what "their" heaven will really be like?!?!
