Back to School

Steve bought a guitar on Saturday and is SO excited about it. This is how we found him when we got home from church yesterday. He's already learned a few chords and was serenading us all afternoon.

My sweet, beautiful girls! I am so proud of these two! Charity is a freshman this year--I really can't believe we're to that point already! She has been anxiously awaiting her first day! Emily is in 8th grade this year and for the first (and only) time in her life is not going to the same school as her sister. She's really looking forward to being the "big man" on campus.

My handsome boys! Zac is in 6th, Jeremy in 4th, Matthew in 2nd and Sam will start preschool in a few weeks. I have mixed emotions about having them all in school. I'm excited and happy to have some 'free' time but will really miss having them around. Even today, with just Sam here, it is SO quiet. It's really weird. But, it's very nice, too! :)

Derrek likes the guitar! He wants to know what kind it is? Charity and Emily's hair is really cute! It's shorter and I like Charity's bangs like that...very cute. They are so grown up! All of them are...time flies (I guess mine are the same age :)

I'm not sure what kind of guitar, a Gibson? We'll have to ask Steve. Maybe Derrek will trade a guitar for a camera, eh??

Did you say you had kids at three different schools, or four? :) I'm not sure that you will have that much "free" time with so many schools to keep track of. I think your household just keeps getting crazier!

Ahh...back to school...I can't believe that Charity is a freshman, I am pretty sure I knew that but to read it...does that mean early morning seminary too?? Maybe now with the kids and school we may see each other...maybe....
